Mike,
I had a similar experience with code working everywhere all the time
except for sporadic problems on my
development computer - the problem it turned out was bad memory! This was
first suggested to me by a tech at an Apple Developer event after the code
worked just fine on their lab machines. I used memtext for OSX to discover
the problem - replaced the chip (free) and that computer worked just great
and consistently.
Good Luck,
Larry
