Re: JBuilder 2005 & Java 1.5?

Frank,

Thanks for your response.  It looks like the very latest version of Java ...

me % javac -version
javac 1.5.0_06

... has sort of seized control.

First, when I run JBuilder I now get this error:  Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.awt.Window.isAlwaysOnTop()Z

Since isAlwaysOnTop() is new for 1.5,  I presume means that JBuilder is stuck on 1.5.

I have version 1.4.2 set as the first application in Java Preferences, and  JVMVersion set to 1.4.2 (in various locations in info.plist):

<dict>
<key>CFBundleDevelopmentRegion</key>
<string>English</string>
// stuff omitted

<key>JVMVersion</key>
<string>1.4.2</string>
<key>Java</key>
<dict>
<key>JVMVersion</key>
<string>1.4.2</string>
</dict>
</dict>

but JBuilder still refuses to launch.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Michael
