I'm getting consistent reports from my users that installing the
update of Quicktime 7.0.4 on 10.3.9 breaks my application.
Odd. (But unfortunately not unbelievable...)
We use QTJ a lot; I updated my QT yesterday and haven't seen any
horrible problems.
From what
I can tell it's during a Toolkit load, and it's trying to pull in a
library that's dying.
Maybe we aren't using the classes you're using?

Not yet. We're running some tests now that you gave us a good scare.

So far I just imported in a movie (frame by frame), played back audio,
and exported a movie using QTJ.
Running OS 10.3.9, QT 7.0.4.
Do you have any console output, or crash logs?
