I must be missing something because I've downloaded and tried to
install Release 3 of JDK 1.5 on my new iMac (Core Duo). The
installer gives me an error that basically states (This version
cannot be installed on this machine). I'm running OSX10.4.4.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
That release should already be installed on an Intel Mac and the
release 3 you can download is for PowerPC Macs only I believe (unless
they updated it).
