Java is a system framework on Mac OS X.  It's not an optional bolt-on
accessory, it's integrated into the very structure of the system, including
private frameworks, helper apps, etc.  Given Apple's decision to integrate
Java like that, it's more like trying a DP release of IOKit or OpenGL.

That is what I meant.  My apologies for the sarcastic tone which obscured
that meaning.
