Since we're all developers here, I'm pretty sure we all understand the uncomfortable position the Apple Java developers are placed in regarding postings on this particular topic. I have no doubt the Apple Java developers are committed to developing a kick-ass implementation of Java for the Apple platform. They're probably just as frustrated as we are by the corporate policies they have to live by.
Even though I think we all share this sentiment, I wanted to explicitly state this and thank them for their work.
I have a feeling there's a lot in common between the Apple Java developers, and the developers in Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit. They both do some great work, and are under-appreciated by the general Mac community.
