Is that not of interest to Apple? Java is bigger as middleware than
client, right?
Or does Apple not care that much about their Xserve/Server offerings
either ?
I'm not a "developer" in the commercial sense - I build systems for
basic CS/NLP/graphics research at Northeastern U. in Boston.
But I care about Java because of its utility as middleware and my
ability to distribute my systems to other researchers. I have no
choice but to test my systems in Java 6 on Windows, Solaris, and
Ubuntu, if I'm going to distribute them widely.
