i noticed that the other day; i'm pretty sure i had nothing to do with it,
but my name does seem to have found its way into the code, perhaps as a
copy & paste from something i did actually write ;-)

i haven't tried JDIC on Mac OS recently, but i tried to get the Browser
stuff to work on Ubuntu 7.04 a few weeks ago with no luck.
