Re: Installers for Java Apps




I think someone mentioned using the java based installer IzPack a while back and I'm considering using it now.
I haven't looked at it extensively yet but what I have seen it did sort of seem a Windows Wizard type which someone else said a while back was sort of non-OS X like. But installers mostly seem to roughly look the same so I don't consider it that out of place.


A couple others I downloaded at some point to maybe look at some time include...
antigen
and
AntInstaller


both maybe 'ant' based. Might of been when I was kind of interested in the possibilities of using 'ant' as a sort of installer scripting language myself.
