Can't answer without knowing your requirements, experience, etc.
My gut response would be, "Whichever one works best." That means: with the
IDE you plan to use, at the scale of the projects you want to use it on,
with the least crashes, etc. Oh, and the one you can figure out how to
setup and use. Those are all things you should be able to discover from
web-searches or RTFM'ing.
If you're besieged by second-guessing and equivocation, flip a coin: heads
SVN, tails Git. If your immediate gut reaction is negative, keep flipping
the coin until you get the answer your gut prefers. This is how you find
your true gut reaction. That may seem like a joke, but it's not. It's an
exercise in training your "Blink" skills.
