NetBeans Tools-Options menu

I just installed NetBeans 5.5.1 on OS/X 10.4, Java 1.5 to give it a try. One of the first things I wanted to do was reset the tab size. The help files and web references all tell me to use the Options menu item in the Tools menu. Now, I'd really like to try that, but there is no Options menu item in my Tools menu. In fact, there is no Options menu item in any of the menus.

Is this a bad install, did the menu item get renamed (I saw no obvious candidates), or is there some replacement?

Any thoughts from the NetBeans gurus?
