| Cheers. Ok, we know that with Leopard and Java 5 the default pipeline is now Sun instead of Quartz. This can result in fonts rendered in a different way etc... Now I have a component that performs a smooth fade out when its contents are changed. It just paints itself in a backbuffer, then paints the new contents in a backbuffer, then starts an animation with cross-fade between the two snapshots, and in the end it renders its contents normally. Well, during the cross-fade fonts are ok, when the animation is over fonts are bad. Is it possible that Quartz is still used when drawing to a backbuffer? -- Fabrizio Giudici, Ph.D. - Java Architect, Project Manager Tidalwave s.a.s. - "We make Java work.
