This is wishful thinking. Apple have not said that they intend to release Java 6 on the Mac.

Can we please not start this again? My wrist is still sore from hitting delete a bajillion times the last time this debate started up.
(And for the more grammatically inclined: yes, I meant 'can' and not 'may'; I'm beginning to wonder whether it's possible for this group not to rehash the speculation and arguing every few weeks.)


I would hope that Matt's announcement the other day of a new Java release (for Tiger, no less) would demonstrate that Apple hasn't stopped working on Java; they're even continuing to improve it for the old OS.
