Anyone know where to start? Should we use plain JNI, JNA[1] or the Scripting Bridge[2]/bridgesupport[3] for the bindings to cocoa?

I don't mind which one you use, as long as you feel comfortable about it and keep working on it. ;)
But seriously, I think they are all compatible, allowing one class being implemented using JNI to interact with another class being implemented using JNA.
