I do not have to do any of those on my macs with SoyLatte. Are you pre-Leopard?

Yep. I'm not at home and I only have my laptop with Tiger (for now Leopard is installed on the Mac Mini). Well, so - since one of the advantage of SoyLatte is that it supports Tiger :-) - it would be nice to have that stuff on Tiger :-)
