Dear List,
I have a simple client server application developed in Java 1.5 and
testing it for cross platform. The client is able to connect with the
server in situation 1) but fails in scenerio 2)
1. Server-Windows machine (INTEL ARCH), Client- Mac OS X 10.4.9 (PPC)
(ie. we run server on the windows machine(intel), and client on ppc machine)
2. Server-Mac OS X 10.4.9 (INTEL ARCH), Client- Mac OS X 10.4.9 (PPC)
(ie. we run server on the Mac intel, and client on ppc machine)
Below is the simple source code for the same.
The code runs successfully in 1) but gives following error in situation 2)
"Couldn't get I/O for the connection to: taranis"
Can anybody please tell what can be the possible reason for the same
??? Please suggest.
