Fabrizio, it's a nice idea, but let meet each other first on the
web, in a
forum or a chat dedicated to SoyLatte.
Personally, I'm a French free lance developer and I'm not ready to
spend
money for a conference. I'd rather spend some time on SoyLatte
development.
I think both are valuable; I'm not sure it can be arranged, but I'd
love to do a small presentation of the current state of SoyLatte at
JavaOne, and meet other interested developers. It helps that JavaOne
is convienently held down the street from my office =) For right now,
I must admit that the commodity I currently have very little of is
time, and there's still quite a bit of development to be done.
In terms of communication, it's has been invaluable to have the input
and testing of the broader Mac Java community (Thank you!). On the
other hand, I don't want to overstay our welcome =) Should we set up
a dedicated list for SoyLatte development, or is having the initial
discussions occur here something the community appreciates?
Cheers,
