[Solved]client-server issue on intel/ppc architecture.

Hi,

I had turned off IPV6 settings and now able to connect the socket. Now
all the cross platform connects are achieved.

IPV6 : SystemPreference->Network->Customzie Menu->Turn off IP  V6

Is there any other way to achieve the same? How is IPV6 affecting the
socket communciation?

Regards,
Rodney

Is that the IP address of the Mac server, or the Windows server?

Does the Mac server have its firewall turned on? If so, is there an entry
to allow port 60000 through?

It would probably be more revealing if you printed stack traces from
exceptions, rather than just printing a message of your own invention.
There's a lot of information in an Exception that can help find problems.
