Subject: Re: native lib problem in leopard

There are ooRexx 3.1.2 PPC and Intel MacOSX installer packages that have been built on Tiger (the SF download page has both) with integrated BSF4Rexx. I just cut the 3.2.0 packages for Tiger, which also happen to work on Leopard except for BSF. They do not use the scripting JSR because we try to avoid bleeding edge.

I was preparing the ooRexx 3.2.0 release for MacOSX when I noticed a problem with the BSF4Rexx Java integration library. I try to deliver a working BSF4Rexx in the installer package because Open Object Rexx for MacOSX does not contain any of the Dialog Manager stuff that the Windows version has, and BSF4Rexx can be used to build very convincing graphical apps using Swing.

On both of my systems (Intel MacBook Pro, Dual G5 PPC) BSF4Rexx fails after upgrade to Leopard.

Sorry I'm not at Leopard so I can't offer any release specific suggestions. I am also not familiar with the DTRACE option you mention. You could probably find posts in the archives on how to track down an unresolved library dependancy.
I mostly replied out of curiosity though, I hadn't noticed before that ooRexx included a MacOSX distribution yet. I think a while back I tried building it but I don't really remember how that went. Is there a Tiger PPC release distribution? Is the BSF4Rexx tied into the scripting JSR?
