John, I just downloaded it and installed it from Software Update! I downloaded Java SE 6 and installed the package on an Intel Mac Pro running 10.5.2. Exactly how do you set the default JVM to use the version of Java? When I tried using resetting the CurrentJDK, the version remained 1.5. Here are the commands I used: cd /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions rm CurrentJDK ln -s 1.6.0 CurrentJDK Then... java -version and the result was: java version "1.5.0_13" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05-237) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-119, mixed mode, sharing) What's up??
