Thread-topic: Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_05 available in software update
User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/12.1.0.080305
If you have ever installed a developer preview of Java 6 it may keep
Software Update from installing the final version. I had to delete
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0 first and then
the update appeared.
