My reason for anger is the lack of support for Intel32 bits and PPC.
For the thing of -server only, it's not necessarily a bad thing. With
Linux and Windows I've some hints that suggest that -server is the
best thing even for my desktop application, since it's computationally
intensive. I've not tested yet which is the price to pay for any
eventual delay in booting, I need more profiling, but the point is
that I'd suggest to people developing for the desktop to have a try
before worrying.
