Throughput will be higher (so micro-benchmarks don't get it), but
startup and responsivness will suffer.
After all, I can't say for sure if that isn't intended at all?
After all, Sun HAS a 32-bit client VM ... so ... is there also an
excuse why there is no 32-bit VM at least for Intel?
I bought a MAC because using a cracked version of OSX is not legal. I
bought it for testing my Java apps!!
I went for a low-budget model of course (it was only intended for
testing) wth a Core(1)Duo.
Now this machine is useless for me ... seems I have to reconsider my descision?!
I'll sell it on ebay for sure.
