Greg,
I agree with all of your points. Namely, Apple screwed up bigtime and
we have to face the facts and come up with a workable solution.
Myself and others believe that it is worthwhile to "raise a stink" and
let Apple hear it, publicly. This is not a stink out of pure emotion
-- it's a rationale and well-thought of process detailing how Apple
screwed up, and why it's a bad thing that they did.
I am not complaining just to complain. I'm complaining because Apple
made a very bad choice, and I want them to know (and others to hear)
why it was bad, and how it affects developers and consumers in a very
negative way.
