Re: Java Webstart Not working in Leopard

Thanks for the account idea. I created a test account, but it had the same result. Apparently my install of JWS has some issues, where it just cannot determine what version JRE I have.

Can I reinstall just the Java package somehow?

Tried several jnlp files. Some were 1.4* others were 1.5.*. None worked

Try a sacrificial virgin account: <http://lists.apple.com/archives/xcode-users/2007/Mar/msg00185.html>

If the virgin works, then there's a setting file or cached file somewhere
under the old account that's causing JWS to malfunction.

If the virgin fails, then something system-wide is malfunctioning.
