I don't know much about this, but seeing as nothing is working, I'd
check 'Activity Monitor' to see if all the processes you'd expect to
be running by you, in fact are. There is an odd Leopard bug out there
where the /sbin/launchd permissions get changed such that every
process runs as root which isn't crippling but messes with printing,
spotlight etc.
Every time I load a jnlp file from Safari, JWS pops up and complains
that I do not have a new enough jre. The jnlp file says, " <j2se
max-heap-size="256m" version="1.5.*"/> " and I have 1.5.0_13
installed. What gives? I have a new enough jre.
I have also tried this with a jws app that only asked for 1.4.* and
I get the same message saying my jre is not new enough.
TIA,
Grady
