Jar Launcher annoyance

Having used CodeWarrior for years, I had thought that the following annoyance with Jar Launcher and jar files was due to it being out of date and buggy in relation to Mac OSX. However I now find it with jar files generated in Eclipse.

1. Double-click on a jar file generated from one of the above IDEs.
2. Java application runs fine.
3. Quit
4. Jar Launcher Dialog pops up: "The jar file "Wibble.jar" couldn't be launched. Check the Console for possible error messages."
5. Check the Console. No error messages.
(Use JarBuilder to build an app and everything is ok.)

Is it me or is it Jar Launcher? (And if it's Jar Launcher why hasn't it been fixed?)
