misunderstand, the two options presented would be:
sorry! I wronglu assumed that you were using Xcode and did not know
you were new to the list!
Well, as others mentioned you can, as you also mentioned, set the
environment variable in the shell startup script. If you do not like
that, why not use a script that you will only run when compiling with
ant? That way you will not break anything.
