Hi all, I am working with web services written in Java. These web services need to access some files on the machine and they are deployed on both windows and Mac OSX. When I send instructions to the web service to manipulate a file on the windows machine I had to place the file in the directory \System32 in order to be seen from the web service. In the Mac OSX I do not know where to place the file to be manipulated and I had to send all the absolute path of the file to the web service. I tried to change the environment variable PATH of the system but that doesn't work. What do you suggest me to do? Do you have any ideas on how to face this problem? Thank you.
