That's an interesting idea but, as far as I can tell, my NetBeans
attempts
to run (Finder launch) or runs (Terminal launch) in 32-bit mode. I
could be
wrong as I'm ignorant about how to tell for sure but here's what I
checked:
- Java Preferences:
1.5 32-bit preferred
- NetBean app's Info.plist
Nothing in there about running as 64-bit
If you want to run NetBeans in 64-bit mode, you need to add a JVMArchs
key in the Info.plist and set it to "x86_64 i386 ppc". And then also
select 1.6 in Java Preferences if you want 1.6 or set the Info.plist
to say 1.6*.
