Hi, everybody: I got a "strange" requirement now : I want to write a file in /Application folder in Java. If I use Admin acount to run my java application, it works. But, if I use normal account or guest account to run my app, it can't create file any more. If I copy or create file throught Finder app, there will display a Dialog ask me to enter Administrator' password, then I will get the privileges to write files to /Applications folder. So, is anyone knows how to pop permission Dialog in Java to get admin authority? Thanks for any suggestions :) Fred Zhang email@hidden _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
