JVM crash

Hi,

We are experiencing a JVM crash at one of our client sites when our app tries to load our JNI library.
This software is installed at a couple of hundred Mac sites and this is the only report we've had like
this and it is happening on all of their machines. They've tried reinstalling fresh copies of the JNI and no change.

One of the machines is a G5 running 10.4.11 and java 1.5.0_16-b06-275 and another is an Intel Mac.

I've removed the start of the following lines to keep things clearer:
JavaApplicationStub: An unexpected Java error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine.
JavaApplicationStub: If this error is reproducible, please report it with the following information:
JavaApplicationStub: 1. Provide the steps to reproduce, a test case, and any relevant information
JavaApplicationStub: 2. The corresponding JavaNativeCrash_pid<num>.crash.log (Java state)
JavaApplicationStub: 3. The corresponding <name>.crash.log (native state; generated by CrashReporter)
JavaApplicationStub: 4. This data:
JavaApplicationStub: Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_16-132 mixed mode, sharing)
JavaApplicationStub: Bus Error (0xa) at pc=0x8fe12960
JavaApplicationStub: Process ID: 308, Current Thread: 25181696
JavaApplicationStub: File report at: http://bugreport.apple.com/
JavaApplicationStub: An error report file has been written to:
JavaApplicationStub: /Users/zzzz/Library/Logs/Java/JavaNativeCrash_pid400.crash.log

I've seen some reports of 3rdparty extensions installed in OS X that can cause problems but cannot see
any evidence of these in the JavaNativeCrash_pid400.crash.log. I have suggested that they
try creating a new user within OS X and see if that still has the same problem.

I will have remote access to one of the machines tomorrow so I'm interested in any ideas as to
where to start trying to track this down. I can send the JavaNativeCrash_pid400.crash.log to
anyone interested but I wasn't sure about sending a few hundred lines to this list.

Thanks
Dave
