Re: Incorporating a small objective C widget into a java app

Michael,

I recommend perservering with Rococoa. I had trouble getting started with it some weeks ago, then suddenly things 'clicked'. It became a straight-forward way to get Objective-C libraries working in Java.

Regarding the problems getting the java.library.path environment variable set, I believe you specify this in your Java command line using -D. eg java -Djava.library.path=.... YourClass

However I opted for the solution of copying the librococoa.dylib into the folder from which I launch my Java program. This worked for me.

Regards,

Steve
