| Hi You might try looking at /Library/Receipts/InstallHistory.plist to see if the installation is listed there. It's defined in mine like this: <dict> <key>date</key> <date>2010-10-21T06:53:47Z</date> <key>displayName</key> <string>Java Developer Package</string> <key>displayVersion</key> <string></string> <key>packageIdentifiers</key> <array> <string>com.apple.pkg.JavaSE6</string> <string>com.apple.pkg.JavaCommon</string> </array> <key>processName</key> <string>Installer</string> </dict> You could also install http://www.mothersruin.com/software/SuspiciousPackage/ to look at the package and see if it contains the right things. The only idea I have for an action is to try downloading the package again in case the one you have is corrupted. Best of luck William |
