There's a recommendation on stack overflow to launch Eclipse with,
amongst other things, the following options. I'm having something of a
bad day with my machine locking up (as in, the entire MacBook pro
locks up), is it possible that some of this is a really bad idea?
-XX:CompileThreshold=5
-XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=10
-XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=70
-XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing
-XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions
-XX:+UseG1GC
-XX:+UseFastAccessorMethods
