PowerPC assembler reference

I've spent the last few days scouring the net looking for a reference for powerpc assembler and haven't been very successful.
All I want at this stage is to be able to look at some disassembled complier output and have a good understanding of what it is doing, rather than" if it's got mul in it I guess it must be a multiply". I don't plan to write assembler at this stage.
Something like an alphabetical list of the mnemonics with a description of what they do.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
