Re: OpenAL & Frameworks

Hey, I'm blameless for that one, it was Creative's OpenAL installer which put it there. If there is a better place to put the OpenAL Framework, I'd like to know. Is there something like a ~/Library/Frameworks/? I took a look and don't see anything there. Oops, just reorganized the folder. Okay, there is a folder called Frameworks. I guess I can try putting new frameworks in there and see what happens. Will PB still be able to find the OpenAL framework when I Add Framework?

I also notice that in your link error listing that OpenAL.framework
is at /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenAL.framework.

*** Don't do that. ***

/System belongs to Apple. Period. Except for kernel extensions,
*no* non-Apple software should *ever* be installed in /System. (And
personally, I don't think non-Apple kernel extensions should be there
either. They should be in /Library/Extensions; I don't *care* how
much more work it is for the kernel extension loader to search two
folders.)
