Aside: Actually, similar to oxygen to a flame is how I would describe your answer :) It's not fuel per say, but provides a 'breath of fresh air'. :)

I think I get what you're saying...
Are you saying Apple's focus is multimedia, games being a side issue/ result?
I guess that fits with what we've gathered ourselves. Of course understanding this explicitly may be good in the long run.
Maybe Leopard's HID manager is everything it needs to be, as that seems like the most obvious lack at the moment.


The funny thing is, for me, SDL actually does more than I need and is relatively easy to use... I'm just sensitive to public opinion that "Macs play Photoshop" and would love to see Apple say otherwise... <sigh>
