Re: Need help with OpenGL, textures, and multi-monitor setups

Some more information, in case it helps with diagnosis:

At least some dual-monitor users tell me that the screensaver works on the second screen, but not the primary, which suggests that it's not that my code is assuming one screen.

According to the debugging logs, when in preview mode the screensaver creates 6 GL textures (the expected number); when actually running, 12 are generated, and completely different displays of quads are generated for the two screens. This means the screensaver engine must run two instances of the screensaver as separate processes. In addition, the textures are numbered 1 to 12, which means they must be global across the OS X OpenGL subsystem, which again is what I'd expect.

I believe I check all the return values during the loading process, and there are no errors reported.

Oh, and my machine is a G4 iMac, so even though I have a spare monitor, I don't believe it'd help to connect it.
