vertex blending



I'm looking into using ARB_vertex_blend for simplified articulated models. I may not be reading the spec correctly, but it doesn't seem useful without ARB_matrix_palette.

Am I correct that if I want to submit a mesh as a single array, the mesh can be affected by at most MAX_VERTEX_UNITS_ARB (<= 4 on most hw)?
