Re: Ray->Sphere intersection

I thought you guys might be interested in this tutorial/example code for spherical (and ellipsoidal) collisions. This tut has some code for ray->sphere collisions for specific cases.

http://fluidstudios.com/publications.html

The tutorial is great, but the example code has enough stl and c++ to bring any c purist to tears.

take care

Does anyone have some good, efficient code for doing Ray-Sphere intersection

We use the algorithm from "Real Time Rendering" for Quesa. You can get the
code from E3Ray3D_IntersectSphere, at the bottom of E3Math.c.
