We use the algorithm from "Real Time Rendering" for Quesa. You can get the
code from E3Ray3D_IntersectSphere, at the bottom of E3Math.c.

I see there's a new edition of the book out - if anyone has seen it, is it
worth getting over the original? There seem to be an extra 400 pages,
covering stuff like NPR, which looks quite interesting.
