Symptoms: Textures gradually begin to not display (they aren't displayed incorrectly, they simply aren't there), followed by a panic. No GL or AGL errors are generated. The only things I do that might be out of the ordinary are that I am continually creating and destroying textures (10,000-20,000, perhaps more, in a single multi-hour session), and the texture source is taken from the interior regions of large 8 bit color index images. The only extension used is texture rectangle. The problem has only been reported (so far) on Radeon 7500 and 8500 under 10.2.8; no problem existed under 10.2.6.
I'm hesitant to submit a bug report, because I don't think I can tell them enough to make the bug report useful. No logfile for the panic is generated (that I can find, anyway), and the program isn't the kind of thing I can reduce to a stand-alone demo app. so I don't know how to tell them to replicate it. "Get a game account and play for several hours and it MIGHT appear" doesn't sound very practical.
