NSOpenGLView (and resizing problems)

This question might end up being more appropriate for the cocoa-dev list, but I'll try here first since I like this list's residents better. :-)

I'm using a cocoa window and NSOpenGLView to hold my opengl stuff. On the whole this is working pretty well, but whenever I resize the window the background "somehow" blits black instead of white. If I drag the window then it "pops" back to a white background. Weird.

I thought it was something I was doing wrong, until I just tried creating an new app with a window with an NSOpenGLView in it, and that very basic new project showed the same weird behavior (except for the popping back to a white background part).

Basically resizing a window with an NSOpenGLView inside seems to have these cosmetic glitches. Has anybody else seen these? And is there an easy way to avoid this phenomenon?

Thanks.
