No. Cg is a NVIDIA technology. Apple's direction is the industry standard GLSL, which works well for all our vendors. We have no plans to support Cg on Mac OS X beyond the support NVIDIA provides.

The book "GPU Gems" has a Cg version of a Computer Vision feature tracker for analysing incoming video. I had been waiting for Cg to be clarified on the Mac, and your answer confirms it.

Is it easy to convert from Cg to GLSL, or does Cg use features specific to Nvidia cards? I understand and agree with the support for GLSL rather than vendor specific tools.
