Re: OpenGL man pages are missing in Leopard

glVertex shows up for me on the command-line, through the "Help- >Open man page..." menu item in Xcode, and by full-text searching of the documentation (the Developer Tools doc set has it).

While I can imagine some configuration difference that keeps it from showing up on the command line and through the menu item, if you have the Developer Tools doc set or the Apple feed selected, a full- text search should definitely work. Have you tried that?

Keith Bauer figured out the cause of the problem. His theory is that the
root of the problem is that the manual pages used to be part of the Xcode
install, but are now part of the core OS (in the BSD package). What probably
happened is

1) the upgrade to Leopard installed the Leopard OpenGL manual pages, but left
the existing Xcode 2.4 installation in place.

2) installing Xcode 3.0 removed Xcode 2.4, including the OpenGL man pages.

The fix is to rerun the Leopard install.
