How to extract system configuration information using Mac API

Hi,

I want to extract the following information using Mac API.

Identification string of the CD-ROM drive
Identification string of the graphics adapter
CPU serial number
Identification string of the system's hard disk
Identification string of the SCSI host adapter
Identification string of the IDE controller

Any idea, what function of API can be used to extract the information.
