Does the Macintosh Manager share point need to be mounted?

Hi All!

Again!

Sort of a stream of consciousness thing going on here....

At our schools, we have separate sharepoints for each grade (2007, 2008, 2009, etc)

those volumes mount on the desktop, of course.

But do the students need to have the Macintosh Manager Sharepoint mount as well? What does it do?
