Hi everyone,

Here is a problem I have that i remember reading about previously on a
List somewhere, a year or so ago.

Just purchased a new Titanium G4 Powerbook and for an extra $89 got
this u-beaut VST external Firewire CD/R Burner. That's NOT the problem.

What is the problem is that the G4 does not see the drive. I have inserted
a CD-ROM, no disk icon on the desktop. Have inserted a CD/R, the magic
"Do you want to Setup this CD/R for data" window does not appear,
nothing appears.

I can vaguely remember reading on a List about the need to hold certain
keys down on a restart to tell the Mac that a firewire drive is plugged in
externally.

Am I right? Or am i going bonkers??
