re: imac can't find networkq

If the folder with the blinking question mark shows up right when you power
the computer on, it's a problem with the system folder. The imac can't find
a blessed system folder to boot from. Boot from a CD and run disk first
aid. See if your HD mounts. If it doesn't, you may need to try to take
further steps to verify your HD.

question mark (?) and just sits there doing that. No message appears telling
me that the server can't be found, I can't boot up with extentions
dissabled, I can't even boot from a CD. The network connection is fine, as
other computers run on it without a problem. Ideas anyone?

running MacOS 9.0.4 and MM 1.3. None of the other iMacs have this problem.
